OUR HISTORY

Historically, Ci has provided pipeline products and services to the liquids pipeline market. Since 2015, we have replicated our liquids pipeline strategy and applied it to the gas pipeline market. We have large investments in valve and actuator inventory and welding and machining equipment, in order to modify the gas pipeline valves. Our partnerships with Top Tier OEMs (Cameron, Flowserve and Emerson) are paramount to satisfying the market demand for faster deliveries on assemblies.

In 2000, the company began stocking Cameron liquid pipeline valves which enabled us to provide our customers a one-stop shop for the valve and actuator package with much faster deliveries then existed in the oil and gas markets at the time. Customers were quick to embrace a delivery schedule of days, compared to months, for Top Tier actuation and Top Tier Cameron products.

In 1992, the company added the capability of providing both reconditioned and factory new electric actuators to our customers. We also expanded our markets to include refineries, power plants, and water treatment facilities.

Charbonneau Industries (Ci) was founded by Steve and Lynne Charbonneau. The oil and gas segment of the business provided replacement parts and services for electric valve actuators in liquids pipeline and storage facilities.
